Skype is an amazing tool for getting to know people. You can’t really hide from anyone if they see you on the screen so it does away with some of the anonymity of other types of communication. I think it can be a positive place to connect with others. As with any form of communication, especially when trying to find dates, it’s always up to the individual to exercise appropriate caution and boundaries so that they don’t put themselves in an unwanted situation.
